Macross F Film Strip Auction Ends at 174,000 Yen

The auction for a film strip randomly bundled in the home video release of the Macross Frontier: Itsuwari no Utahime film ended early Tuesday morning at 174,000 yen (about US$2,130) on the Yahoo! Auctions Japan website. The final bid has yet to be verified. The film strip features the idol singer character Sheryl Nome.
A film strip of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya character Yuki Nagato ended at 356,000 yen (US$3,990) in March, while a strip from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st ended at 532,000 yen (US$6,500). An auction for a film strip with the Evangelion character Asuka ended on this past May at 113,201 yen (US$1,252), and another ended at 190,000 yen (US$2,300).
