Patlabor Joins Super Robot Wars Operation Extend Game

Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine revealed the latest information on this summer's PSP game Super Robot Wars Operation Extend on Thursday. For the first time in the simulation role-playing game franchise, the title will be offered in eight separate chapters, distributed one after another via download.

Famitsu also indicated that there are more titles to be revealed later. The magazine posted more images online.

The first chapter of the game will cost 500 yen (about US$5), and the remaining chapters will cost 1,000 yen (US$10) each. The full eight-chapter pack will cost 6,480 yen (US$68.80). Longtime producer Takanobu Terada is heading the project.
