Actress Rika Adachi Cosplays as Kemono Friends' Serval

The Kemono Friends franchise has a new celebrity fan. Actress Rika Adachi posted pictures on Instagram and Twitter of herself cosplaying as Serval on Sunday.
Adachi wore the outfit for her appearance on the FM Nack 5 radio station's "Nack5 Special 'Anison Friends'" program. Adachi hosted the program with singer-songwriter and actor Yūtaro Miura. In the station's first program dedicated to anime songs, Miura and Adachi announced the results of a listener poll of favorite anime songs for 1999 and earlier, the 2000s, and the 2010s.
Yuka Ozaki, who voices Serval, called Adachi's cosplay "amazing," said she was cute as Serval, and thanked the actress. Although listeners couldn't see the hosts' costumes, Miura also cosplayed as Kaban from Kemono Friends.
Adachi previously cosplayed as Menma from anohana. She is also no stranger to the anime industry. Adachi has voiced anime roles such as Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction's Marilyn Flame and appeared in Detective Conan: The Eleventh Striker as herself.
