Koei Tecmo Games announced at the “Neoromance 20th Anniversary” event on Saturday that Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6 (Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time 6) is in production for the Sony PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable consoles. The game is scheduled to be released sometime next year. The previous numbered title in the series, Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 5, was released in Japan for the PSP in 2011.
The game will take place in the Taishō period (1912-1926) in Kyoto. Manga artist Tohko Mizuno will design the characters, and a teaser site will open on Tuesday. Voice actor Atsushi Abe (Toaru Majutsu no Index's Tōma, Bakuman.'s Mashiro) commented on the announcement, saying, “The details aren't determined yet, but no matter what role I play, I'll put all my soul into it.”
The staff also unveiled that the full remake of the first Angelique game will have a completely revamped system and CG set, and that the voice cast of the game will not change. A new image of Claudis and Julius was also unveiled at the event.
Koei Tecmo had announced during Sony's SCEJA press conference earlier this month that a Neoromance 20th anniversary title would be released on the PS Vita.
