posted on by Andrew Osmond
London's ICA Cinema will screen the documentary feature film Kingdom of Dreams & Madness (Yume to Kyōki no Ōkoku) about Studio Ghibli from Friday November 7.
Tickets can be booked here; click "view dates." The page lists one screening an evening (8.30 p.m. or 8.50 p.m.) from November 7 until Thursday November 13. The film runs 118 minutes. Please note, there is no screening on Monday November 10.
Yomiuri Documentary award-winning director Mami Sunada (Ending Note: Death of a Japanese Salaryman) directed the film. It follows Studio Ghibli director Hayao Miyazaki as he worked on the Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises) film, director Isao Takahata as he worked on the film Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya), and producer Toshio Suzuki as he worked on both projects. The documentary opened in Japanese cinemas last year.
