Blood-C Anime Gets Stage Play Next Summer

Theatrical company Nega Design Works announced on Friday that a stage play adaptation of the 2011 anime Blood-C has been green-lit.
Shutaro Oku (Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena stage plays) will direct the play, while Jun'ichi Fujisaku will write the scripts. Fujisaku also wrote the scripts for the television anime. The play will run at the Setagaya Public Theater from July 2 to 5.
The Blood-C television anime and film project is a collaboration between manga creation team CLAMP and Production I.G The story revolves around Saya Kisaragi, a kind and clumsy girl. However, at night, Saya becomes a sword-wielding monster-hunter.
Funimation has licensed and released both the television series and film in North America.
