New Nintendo 3S XL port of Wii game also coming to Japan, Europe in April
Nintendo began streaming a new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D game on Friday. The trailer reveals that the port of the Wii game will be available for the New Nintendo 3DS XL in North America starting on April 10.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is the first game announced as an exclusive to the New Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said that Nintendo previously wanted to port the game to the Nintendo 3DS, but needed the increased power of the New 3DS to make it possible. The New Nintendo 3DS shipped in Japan in October and will ship in North America (3DS XL only) and Europe on February 13.
Nintendo released the original Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii in Japan in 2010, in Europe in 2011, and in North America in 2012.
