Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade Game's Video Previews the Warrior of Light

The official website of Square Enix's upcoming Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade game began streaming a battle video on Thursday. The video previews the Warrior of Light, the protagonist of the original Final Fantasy game, in action.
Square Enix is accepting applications to play trial sessions of the game ahead of its formal launch on November 26. Square Enix will hold the trial sessions on November 14 and 15, and will have 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 events on both days. The company had hosted two sets of location tests across Japan in April.
The arcade game will feature a 3 vs 3 battle system. The game will also include a summons gauge that players can use to summon Ifrit and other popular Final Fantasy summons when the gauge is full. Takeharu Ishimoto and his band The Death March will perform a new song for the game.
Koei Tecmo Games' Team Ninja (Dead or Alive series) is developing the game, which will use technology from a PlayStation 4 core system instead of a dedicated arcade circuit board.
Square Enix released Dissidia Final Fantasy, a PlayStation Portable fighting game featuring Final Fantasy heroes and villains, in 2008 in Japan, and in 2009 in other parts of the world. The company then released the Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy sequel in 2011 for the PSP with new characters, stages, and story.
