posted on by Karen Ressler
Square Enix announced on Tuesday that it plans to release Romancing SaGa 2 on PlayStation Vita, iOS, and Android this winter. The price of the game has not yet been set.
The game will retain the character sprites from the original 1993 SNES game, but the backgrounds and battle graphics will be new. The game will include the additional classes and dungeon that were included with the 2010 mobile version of the game.
Square Enix released the Makai Tōshi SaGa (The Final Fantasy Legend in North America) in 1989. Since then, there have been many installments in the series, including ports and remakes. The last full-fledged SaGa game, Unlimited Saga, was released in 2003. Square Enix will release SaGa Scarlet Grace on the PlayStation Vita in 2016.
