posted on by Karen Ressler
This year's March issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine announced on Friday that Bandai Namco Entertainment is developing a Twin Star Exorcists (Sōsei no Onmyōji) smartphone game titled Sedai Kōtai Sōsei no Onmyōji (Alternation of GENERATIONS Twin Star Exorcists). The game's website is accepting preregistration ahead of a planned launch this spring.
The game will be free to play with in-game purchases. The game allows players to marry characters and pass powers down to children.
The magazine also announced that the eleventh compiled volume of Yoshiaki Sukeno's original manga, the compiled volume of the koppy's Sōsei no Onmyōji SD Nyoritsuryō!! spinoff gag manga (pictured left), and Sukeno and Hajime Tanaka's Sōsei no Onmyōji -Shiga Kenbyaku- novel will all ship on March 3. Sōsei no Onmyōji SD Nyoritsuryō!! ended on Friday in Shueisha's Saikyō Jump. Sōsei no Onmyōji -Shiga Kenbyaku- is the second official novel based on the series, after Sukeno and Tanaka's Sōsei no Onmyōji -Tenen Jakko-, and it focuses on Mayura and Shimon.
Sukeno (Binbogami ga!) launched the "new-generation onmyō (ancient Japanese occultism) fantasy" in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine in November 2013. An ongoing television anime series adaptation premiered in April.
