- Jason Douglas as Bomber
- Maggie Flecknoe as Kanau
- Scott Gibbs as Alex
Kyle Jones is directing and writing the dub. Other voice actors include Vic Mignogna, Jay Hickman, John Swasey, Shanae'a Moore, Katelyn Barr, Allison Sumrall, Carli Mosier and Kregg Dailey.
Sentai Filmworks will release the anime in standard Blu-ray Disc and DVD editions, as well as a premium box set on May 30.
The anime, based on Sankaku Head's manga of the same name, centers around Taihei Doma and his little sister Umaru, who boasts beautiful looks as well as prowess in both school and sports. However, she has a certain secret. Everyone may think she is the ideal girl, but she is anything but. "Himōto" is a pun on "imōto" (little sister) and "himono," which means "dried fish," but in slang can refer to a woman who is proper in public but lazy at home.
The first television anime series premiered in July 2015, and Crunchy Roll streamed the anime as it aired. The anime will get a second season this fall. The manga is also inspiring an original anime DVD (OAD) bundled with the manga's 10th volume, which will ship on Wednesday. The television anime's staff and cast are returning for the OAD.
Sankaku Head launched the manga in Weekly Young Jump in 2013 (after running an earlier two-chapter Himōto! Umaru-chan! version in Miracle Jump in 2012). The manga has 2.7 million copies in print as of March.
