Voltron: Legendary Defender Show's Season 5 Premieres on Netflix on March 2

The official Instagram account for DreamWorks' Voltron: Legendary Defender animated series announced on Wednesday that new episodes will premiere on Netflix on March 2. Voice actor Rhys Darby (Coran) confirmed that the new episodes will be the show's fifth season.
The show's 11-episode first season premiered on Netflix in June 2016. The 13-episode second season then premiered in January 2017, followed by the seven-episode third season on August 4 and the six-episode fourth season on October 13.
The show stars:
- Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) as Keith
- Jeremy Shada (Adventure Time) as Lance
- Bex Taylor-Klaus (Arrow) as Pidge
- Josh Keaton (Green Lantern: The Animated Series) as Shiro (formerly "Sven")
- Tyler Labine (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) as Hunk
- Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect) as Princess Allura
- Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords) as Coran
- Neil Kaplan (Transformers: Robots in Disguise) as King Zarkon
A.J. Locascio joined the show's cast for the third season as Prince Lotor.
Studio Mir (The Legend of Korra) animated the first season. Joaquim Dos Santos, Lauren Montgomery, and Tim Hedrick all worked together on Avatar the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.
