NG Horror Adventure Game Announced for PS Vita
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
This week's issue of Gzbrain Inc.'s Weekly Famitsu magazine is revealing on Thursday that Experience Inc. will release the new NG horror game for PlayStation Vita in Japan on August 9. The game will follow Shiin (Death Mark) as the second game in the "spirit horror" series.
The game series' development is based on the Japanese horror concept of "quiet fear." The new game will follow the basic systems of Shiin while revising various parts.
The series' first game shipped for PlayStation Vita in June 2017, and then launched on the PlayStation 4 on January 18. A Nintendo Switch version will launch in Japan on June 28.
The Shiin game is set in a Tokyo suburb that has lately seen many bizarre deaths. All those who have died bear a "mark" on their body, and urban legends swirl about these marked people, with some saying they were cursed by spirits to die. Players take the role of one such marked person, and choose another character and fellow marked person as a partner. The protagonist and partner must visit haunted locations and find clues to unravel the mystery of the mark before they die.
