'Hora, Mimi ga Mieteru yo!' TV Anime's Video Previews Theme Song

The official YouTube channel for Hora, Mimi ga Mieteru yo! (Look, I Can See Your Ears!), the television anime adaptation of a Chinese webcomic, began streaming a promotional video for the anime on Friday. The video previews the anime's theme song "Mimimimi Puwappu" by Tsukino Amasato. The anime's staff also revealed additional cast members.
The additional cast members include Keigo Katsumada as Dondon, and Sarina Akito as Kinshū.
The anime premiered first in China on the bilibili streaming service this month. The show will premiere on TV and online in Japan in October. The anime will air on Tokyo MX and AT-X in Japan starting on October 3.
Chiaki Sugano (animation director ID-0, BBK/BRNK) is directing and producing the anime. monofilmo is credited as both the animation studio and as the scriptwriter. Hiroshi Chikasada is the sound director at Alchemy Bros.
The show stars Ayumu Murase as Myō (pictured right in above image) and Yūma Uchida as Daisū (left). The anime follows Daisū, a manga creator who grew up in an orphanage, and whose works do not sell very well. Daisū lives each lonely day in boredom, but one day he meets a young man named Myō who has cat ears, and his everyday life completely changes. Myō gets in trouble every day, but for the first time in his life, Daisū's heart experiences "warmth." The story follows their everyday comical life together while slowly unraveling the mystery of Myō.
The original webcomic serializes on the "Man Man Manga" website.
