Hajime Segawa, Toshinori Okazaki's Dengeki Travellers Manga Ends

Hajime Segawa and Toshinori Okazaki ended their Dengeki Travellers manga on the Comic Newtype website on Friday. Segawa is credited with the original concept, and Okazaki is credited for the art.
The authors launched the manga on the website in December 2017. Kadokawa will publish the manga's third compiled volume on September 26.
The manga centers on Kiriharu Kunimori, a high school student who possesses a "charged body," the ability to store electricity inside his body and release it. One day, a girl named Kirio Nagihara, who has the same "charged body" ability, transfers into Kiriharu's class. From their encounter, Kiriharu's normal everyday life changes greatly.
Segawa ended his Tokyo ESP manga in July 2016. He launched the "afterschool psychic action" series in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in 2010, shortly after ending The Enchained Spiritual Beast Ga-Rei supernatural action series. Kadokawa published 16 compiled book volumes for Tokyo ESP. Vertical published the manga in two-in-one omnibus volumes in North America.
Both Tokyo ESP and Ga-Rei inspired television anime adaptations in 2014 and 2008, respectively. Ga-Rei is inspiring a live-action television series by Thor producer and Thor: Ragnarok co-writer Craig Kyle.
