Cosplayful.com Features SaikouCon 2015 on Top 100 Anime Conventions in North America 2015

SaikouCon also brings back All Access level Attendee Badges for remainder of pre-registration period

5/19/15 Bethlehem, PA – SaikouCon, which means "best convention”, is the Lehigh Valley's first and only large scale, annual anime convention. Boasting a dedicated staff of longtime Japanese anime and manga fans, SaikouCon is excited to be the only annual convention dedicated exclusively to anime, manga, and Japanese culture and pop culture in this area of Northeast Pennsylvania. The convention grew out of the now defunct, but soon to be relaunched, webzine Anime Ate My Brain Magazine; the sibling webzine to Tastes Like Rock! Music Magazine. Both journalistic endeavors fall under the newly renamed Nerdy Rock 'n Roller Publishing, which will be growing in diversity in 2015.

The convention promises to remain very hands on and attendee friendly every year, while also maintaining a safe atmosphere for attendees to enjoy the convention to their carefree fullest. As always, Cosplay =/= Consent is a very important issue to the staff of SaikouCon, and the same rules and regulations that made SaikouCon 2013 and 2014 a safe haven for cosplayers will be enforced just as strictly at SaikouCon 2015. SaikouCon 2015 will feature many diverse and entertaining panels, workshops, activities, events, screenings, gaming tournaments, and much more!

SaikouCon was included in Cosplayful.com's list of the Top 100 Anime Conventions in North America for 2015. The Cosplay webstore and Cosplay/Convention Lifestyle blog honored the Bethlehem, PA based anime convention with the 92 rank out of 100 listing winners on May 18, 2015. SaikouCon's founder and con chair, Michael Meade, had this say on SaikouCon's Facebook page, “We came in at #92 on Cosplayful.com's list of the Top 100 Anime Cons in North America for 2015, https://cosplayful.com/cosplay-blog/top-100-anime-conventions-in-north-america-2015/!! We still have a long way to go as we grow, but this is definitely an honor for us! Cosplayful just sent us the e-mail letting us know we made the list this year a few minutes ago. Didn't even know we were nominated, if we were, before that e-mail; not sure how they compile the list and award spots on it.”
The convention is quite honored to be included in Cosplayful's award listing, it is the first time SaikouCon has been recognized in this manner, the whole staff of the convention is reportedly ecstatic for the recognition so early in the lifetime of the Lehigh Valley area convention. 2015 is the convention's third year. SaikouCon would like to thank Cosplayful for their recognition profusely!!

SaikouCon has also brought back their All Access badge level for attendees. The All Access badge was initially discontinued for 2015 after low interest for SaikouCon 2014, however, after several e-mail requests the staff of SaikouCon decided to bring it back for the remainder of the pre-registration period for higher level badges. SaikouCon's pre-reg period for high level badges (Deluxe, VIP, and All Access) concludes at midnight on July 17 whereas Basic badges will be available for pre-reg until August 14, 2015 at midnight. Higher level badges will not be available for At Door registration due to the memorabilia that is included with them such as exclusive buttons (Deluxe), mini-posters (VIP), and full sized posters (All Access). All Access badges also include a private meet and greet with all of SaikouCon 2015's Guests of Honor on SaikouCon Saturday.
