Mamoru
Hikari
Itsuki
Kaede
Takumi
Michiru
Hansel

Mary Skelter 2 also contains the first installment of the series, Mary Skelter™: Nightmares, which includes revamped systems and balances to the original release.

Chase Mode: Whenever a white haze appears, players will know that a Nightmare is near. If a Nightmare spots a player, "Chase Mode" begins, where players must either escape or stun the Nightmare to get away. Players do have the opportunity to kill the Nightmare, but only if the Jail's Core is destroyed. During Chase Mode, the mini-map is removed, and the only guidance players have is the splattered blood thrown by you or from blood splashed from previous enemy battles.

Blood Farm: Players can raise "Blood Flowers" inside dungeons by using the "Blood Farm System." Plant "Blood Crystals" found in dungeons and harvest them when fully bloomed! Players can also splash Marchen Blood on the Blood Flowers to give the flowers a golden shine and also increase the chance in harvesting rarer items. Each item harvested is one-of-a-kind, so keep harvesting to find an item fit for your party.

Jobs and Party Customization: Each Blood Maiden can change between 5 different "Jobs," which allows a player to decide on the party's overall battle dynamics. Otsuu, on the other hand, has abilities unique to her character. With Otsuu's unique jobs, players can use her to fill-in any gaps in a party's set-up. Customize your party to your needs!

Blood Abilities: Each Blood Maiden has a special "Blood Ability" that can help players achieve a variety of things. These abilities can help unlock and trigger secret passageways, increase the chances of harvesting unique items when Blood Farming, and even create your very own save point when you're in the dungeon.

Character Profiles:
Mamoru

A boy found during Otsuu's exploration in the underground caverns. Despite his looks, he is a very thoughtful and kind person. He is one of the very few people Otsuu and Little Mermaid encounter that they would consider a friend.

He is usually found guarding the base as the gatekeeper, and supports the Blood Maidens as a handyman of sorts.
He is also a longtime friend of Hikari, and their lighthearted arguments show it.

Hikari

A girl found during Otsuu's exploration in the underground caverns. Her happy and energetic nature brings smiles to those around her.

She is often found at the rescue center where she tends to the survivors and the Marchens working under Hameln.

Itsuki

A young man found during Otsuu's exploration in the underground caverns. Though not as strong as the others, he makes up for it with his intelligence, analyzing tense situations for solutions.

He is often found at the laboratory, and is constantly conducting research on the Blood Maidens and the Jail. He is a long time friend of Kaede, who still, to this day, treats him like a kid.

Kaede

A girl found during Otsuu's exploration in the underground caverns. She's a bit of a spitfire who's quick to pick fights, but is also very reliable and supports the Blood Maidens at their time of need.

She is often found at the store where she sells a variety of goods. She can't seem to stop pestering Itsuki, constantly teasing him as if he was a kid.

Takumi

A young man found during Otsuu's exploration in the underground caverns. Somewhat of a narcissist and eccentric, he likes changing speech patterns for some reason. In fact, he changes his way of speech so often that it's hard to tell what his true personality is like.

He is often found at the factory where he crafts and strengthens the Blood Maidens' weapons. He acquired this skill after his tenure working at Dawn's factory.

Michiru

"Keep faith, as the Sun God will scorch the heavens to render salvation from the Jail." Under these words, Michiru leads the Order of the Sun.

She is called Lady Oohime by her followers, but her real name is Michiru, which she often uses when speaking with the Blood Maidens. She speaks cryptically, but her confusing words possess an odd sort of divinity.

About Mary Skelter: Nightmares

Originally released for the PlayStation®Vita in September 2017, in Mary Skelter: Nightmares, powerful Nightmares actively stalk the player as you run through the dungeon—fight back with the dungeons' gimmicks or the Blood Maidens' abilities! Using a turn-based battle system, class changes, a blood-powered transformation system, and more, you and your party must solve the dungeons' mysteries and satisfy the prison's desires. In Mary Skelter 2, players can play the full revamp of Mary Skelter: Nightmares!

About Mary Skelter 2

Mary Skelter 2 evolves the core elements in Mary Skelter: Nightmares to bring to you a world teeming with twists and turns, topped with a new battle feature where the previous protagonist, Jack, is now a Nightmare. Players can use his Nightmare powers to defeat enemies, but at a maddening cost. Set in an alternate reality that includes familiar characters from the first installment, players must relive the torturous dungeon experiences and find ways to feed an almost insatiable prison. Will you be able to escape this prison and find sanctuary or will you fall into the clutches of madness?
