RWBY: Arrowfell Physical Edition Preorders Now Available

Get the standard and collector's editions of Team RWBY's 2D action-adventure from Limited Run Games

Valencia, Calif. — February 10, 2023 — Team RWBY's battle against the forces of evil is getting physical! Independent game studio WayForward (Shantae, River City Girls) is elated to announce that RWBY: Arrowfell, a 2D action-adventure video game based on Rooster Teeth's global animated hit RWBY, is now available to preorder physically on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox from Limited Run Games. Launching ahead of the highly anticipated debut of RWBY Volume 9 on Feb. 18, preorders for this in-canon tale will be available until March 12, 2023. A new trailer highlighting RWBY: Arrowfell's gameplay and physical edition can be seen at https://youtu.be/hgeik271z5E.

Set during RWBY Volume 7, RWBY: Arrowfell lets players control all four members of Team RWBY — Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long — as they uncover the mystery surrounding a dangerous new technology. Players will instantly swap between characters to unleash their signature weapons and Semblances in ranged and melee combat against the Creatures of Grimm and other foes while completing quests, solving puzzles, battling massive bosses, upgrading their stats and abilities, and exploring numerous areas across the continent of Solitas.

Other features include a large supporting cast — including fan favorites like Qrow, Penny, and Winter, along with newcomers such as the group of rival Huntresses known as Team BRIR — plus all-new animated cutscenes from the makers of the show, an atmospheric soundtrack by composer Dale North, and an original theme song, "Everstrong," by Jeff Williams with vocals by Casey Lee Williams.

Available at limitedrungames.com/collections/RWBY-arrowfell, the physical version of RWBY: Arrowfell is being offered as both a standard edition (priced at $34.99) and a collector's edition (priced at $74.99), which includes not only the game itself, but also an original soundtrack CD, a double-sided poster featuring Team BRIR on one side and a game map on the other, a metal challenge coin, and a Team BRIR acrylic standee, all packed into a collector's box adorned with exclusive artwork. All editions are being offered as open preorders until March 12, as are two separate pieces of exclusive merchandise: a set of Team BRIR collectible cards and a Team BRIR t-shirt.

In addition to the physical version of RWBY: Arrowfell, the game is also currently available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, as well as PC via Steam.
